Akshay Kumar - Star - Filmography 2011-12

Khiladi Akshay Kumar is all geared up to return as an action hero! With Rowdy Rathore and the sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai in the pipeline, Akshay’s fans can expect unadulterated action from their favourite star. Recently in an interview, Akshay Kumar said he wants to return in action movies since there is a surge of movies of this genre! Also, one of the reasons for not doing action films was that earlier his son was too young; but since now his son has grown up and is 10-years-old, Akki has decided to take a plunge and return back as the action hero. He further added that he is 45 now and has 4-5 years of action left in him! After that, he might not be able to work in action oriented movies. Akki also said that he is really excited to work on his next project titled Khiladi 786. He feels that the role was written for him and it is after 12 long years that he’s making a comeback as an action hero. Akshay Kumar was honest enough to admit that he should have done less number of comedy movies. He confessed that he got carried away since a lot of people complimented him for his comic timing.
